SARAH NEVADA GRETHER
An American born performance artist.
Her work ranges from film acting and video performance to dance and musical theater. She’s also a founding artist with the Lifestyle performance company, “Salon K” under the direction of Patrick King.
Sarah received her early classical dance education from the Channel Islands Ballet School in Ventura, California, later the School of American Ballet in New York City and finally recieved her Diploma of dance at the Hamburg Ballet School under the direction of John Neumeier in Hamburg Germany. In 2000 she participated as a demi finalist in the famous World Competition “Prix de Lausanne”.
From 2001-2006 she danced at the Stuttgart Ballet under the direction of Reid Anderson, as a group and solo dancer. -Dancing solo and main roles from world renowned choreographers such as Wayne McGregor, Christan Spuck, John Neumeier, Uwe Scholz, and Hans Von Mannen. As well as solo repertoire from George Balanchine, John Cranko and Glen Tetly. After her classical years in Stuttgart, Sarah dove into new avenues of expression and expanded her career in acting, modern dance, performance art, and musical theater.
Since 2008 she works as a film actor and dance/music theater artist with various directors/choreographers such as Patrick King, Reynold Reynolds, Marieli Frölich, Ismael Ivo, Erwin Schrott, Constanza Macras, Hans Van Den Broeck, Tatjana Turanskyj, Pierre Wyss, Antonio Gomes, Dieter Blum -amoungst many others. Sarah also creates her own solo and company works which have been performed at festivals such as, the 17th International Choreography competition in Stuttgart Germany, the IETM international network for performing arts, in Berlin Germany, at the Nouverre Society in Stuttgart, Germany and at the Heimspiel at the Dampfzentrale in Bern, Switzerland.
